Thought You Should Know Single

After three long years indie country rocker Tonya Watts is back with a new single entitled "Lonesome Bend Road", released on her own Dazey Rock Records. "Thought You Should Know" is available at

cdbaby, iTunes, our online store, and other online venues. Be sure to grab your copy today!

What some others have said about Tonya and this new release.

The former model-actress and past Baywatch-Barbwire Pamela Anderson body double has always worked a deliciously idiosyncratic, Dixie-fried brand of Outlaw country-rock...but here she creates a high-tension gem of super-charged erotic expression--something that no one else does as well as the one and only Tonya Watts

JOHNNY WHITESIDE of LA WEEKLY

For years there have been many singer/songwriters that had their own unique style, sound and groove. Tonya Watts has it and I like it. Bob Dylan, Robert Earl Keen, Corb Lund, Townes Van Zant and Janis Joplin aren't the only ones that did good doing their own thing. I've done really well in Texas by playing music that was different. Take your radio britches off and really listen, you'll like it.

Bloodworth

Three years ago dazey rock released Tonya's first full length cd "Handcuff My Soul" to much critical acclaim and success, including Tonya being hand picked to sing her regional hit "Alabama Crimson" in the upcoming movie, Bloodworth, starring Val Kilmer and Kris Kristofferson. Bloodworth will be the opening night selection at this year's Nashville Film Festival on April 14th, and 15th at 8pm.

USA Gold Cigarettes

In the Interim Tonya also starred in a national campaign for USA Gold Cigarettes, that has found her gracing the pages of Maxim, People, TV Guide, and Rolling Stone, not to mention billboards and posters across the country.

Tonya Watts. Movie star looks. Homeless advocate. Rock and roller. Country girl. Hollywood glam from Alabam. You can’t really sum up Tonya Watts in a simple description. She’s too complex, too multitfaceted to really paint the whole picture and the best thing to do would be to hit up her immensely popular myspace page and listen to her music. She says she is in love with raw truth, and I believe her. She wears her beliefs like battle calls, almost daring anyone and everyone to challenge what she thinks, and who she is. Only a fool would try.

TONYA WATTS: UPSY DAZEY

No, Dazey ain’t lazy. Tonya Watts is one hard workin’ woman. She’s formed a new label, Dazey Rock Records, launched a new skin care line, Dazey Hemp, has a new single hitting airwaves, ”I Thought You Should Know.” Yet, somehow in the middle of all of all this, she has been fixin’ up and flippin’ houses in Alabama, raising her daughter, and crusading for the homeless.
